Schaller Tuners. Although reasonably priced, Schaller tuning machines are the ones all others are compared to. Made in Germany to the highest standards, they are completely sealed and built to last. Schaller M6 machines come in a 12:1 gear ratio for smooth adjustment with practically no backlash. Minis have a smaller housing and smaller buttons as well as a 14:1 ratio. Minis are often used on twelve-string guitars, six-string guitars with smaller headstocks, and whenever the player wants a little finer gear ratio.

The larger Schallers are available in chrome, gold, and black with matching buttons. The minis are not currently available in black. Ebony buttons are available for either, and I can custom make buttons in a variety of materials.
