Craftsmanship—VanDruff guitars are hand made in rural Virginia to uncompromising standards of craftsmanship. Each guitar is built by one man—yours truly. An engineer by trade, I am also a second-generation woodworker with a life-long love of music.

Combining an artisan's experience with wood and an engineer's attention to detail, I perform each step of the process myself from selecting the wood, to engraving delicate inlays, to buffing the high gloss finish.

I would like to give you a tour of my shop while illustrating how I build a guitar. Along the way, I will try to explain the whys as well as the hows. You will also see some of my fixtures and jigs (I hope you like that kind of stuff).
