Inlay the rosette

Inlay the rosette—Most of the trim is done at a much later stage, but once I start gluing on braces, the soundboard is no longer flat. Inlaying a thin, flexible, curved surface is to be avoided at all costs. There is a tool that can route all the rosette grooves at once, but it takes a long time to set up. I like to vary my rosettes, so I draw my rosettes on the computer and print them out full size. I set the router directly from the drawing.

My tool of choice is a Dremel in a high-quality router base. (Actually I prefer my Black & Decker RTX, but it won't fit this router base.)
