I hope that you enjoy making music. Music can be the most wonderful way to share your joys, learn new things, make friends, and praise God. I think we all have something to say musically, and — regardless of knowledge, skill, or style — almost anyone can produce satisfying music on a good guitar.

I started building guitars because I wanted to play for my wife, whom I love dearly. I have no musical ability, but I convinced myself that if I invested a couple hundred hours building a guitar that I would become one with my instrument and somehow learn to play. Well, I still have no musical ability, but my wife praises my efforts and never laughs. She enjoys my playing, and that is all I desire.

As I made that first guitar, I found that building guitars is also a wonderful way to share joy, learn new things and make friends. Praise God.
